Ilvane was born at the kitchen table, between two pots of ink and a bouquet of yarrow. Today it's a studio — still small, still slow.
Plants, first.
Everything begins in the garden. Mugwort, sage, yarrow — the ones you learn to recognise on a walk. Each illustration starts with an observation: a pencil drawing, a note on the light, sometimes a dried leaf tucked into a notebook.
We draw what heals us. And we believe that hanging an image on the wall is already inviting a presence into your home.
The moon, as an inner calendar.
We follow the cycles because they remind us that nothing is linear: not light, not creativity, not the seasons of a woman. New moons are for dreaming, full moons for giving. Every notebook, every print is thought to accompany these moments.
We believe that everyday objects deserve to be beautiful, made with attention, and carry a small story.

We only print what is ordered — nothing stocked, nothing wasted. Every piece is made for you, by our European printing partners, when you choose it. The illustrations are hand-drawn before being handed over to print. That's our way: slow, chosen, without excess.
