Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Preamble

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&C) govern sales made on the ilvane.art website by Marion Balsaux, sole trader (micro-entreprise) operating under the commercial name Ilvane, registered office at 66 rue de l'Église, 54220 Malzéville, France, registered under SIRET 912 666 997 00057 (SIREN 912 666 997), APE code 9609Z. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French Tax Code.

Placing an order implies full acceptance of these T&C.

2. Products

Ilvane offers illustrated products made to order (digital printing): poster prints, t-shirts, mugs, wine tumblers, tote bags and notebooks. Illustrations are created by Marion Balsaux and printed by European partners via the Printful platform.

Photographs and visuals shown on the site are as faithful representations of the products as possible. Slight variations in colour may exist depending on screens and print batches.

3. Orders

An order is validated upon receipt of payment confirmation. Ilvane reserves the right to cancel an order in case of product unavailability, manifest pricing error, or suspected fraud. The customer would then be informed by email and fully refunded.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros (€), all taxes included. Shipping is free on orders over €69 for European Union destinations; below that amount, a flat shipping fee is added at checkout. For any delivery outside the EU, additional fees and customs duties may apply, at the recipient's expense.

Ilvane reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the rate in effect at the time of order validation.

5. Payment

Payment is made online, securely, via Stripe. Accepted payment methods are: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payment data is encrypted and never stored on our servers.

6. Delivery

Each product being made to order, production lead time is 2 to 5 working days, plus transport time (3 to 7 working days for the EU). Shipments are handled by Printful's logistics partners (DHL, La Poste, Bpost, etc. depending on destination).

A shipment confirmation email including a tracking number is sent as soon as the carrier takes over.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or pay a penalty.

How to withdraw: notify us of your decision before the deadline by email at hello@ilvane.art (any unambiguous statement is enough; a model withdrawal form is available on request). You then have 14 days to send the item back.

Costs and condition: return shipping is at your expense (art. L221-23). The item must be returned in its original condition — unworn, unwashed, unused, with its labelling — so it can be resold. We refund all sums paid (excluding return shipping) within 14 days of recovering the item or receiving proof of its dispatch, using the same payment method.

Exceptions (art. L221-28): the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised at your request (e.g. custom text or a name added especially for you). Catalogue items, which reproduce an existing illustration in standard sizes and colours, are eligible for withdrawal. For more details, see our Returns page.

8. Legal guarantees

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). In case of defect, contact us within 14 days by email with photos of the product. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

9. Liability

Ilvane cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of products, nor for delivery delays attributable to carriers or external causes (strikes, weather, force majeure).

10. Intellectual property

All illustrations present on Ilvane products are the exclusive property of Marion Balsaux / Ilvane and are protected by copyright. Buying a product does not entail any transfer of rights on the illustration it reproduces. Any commercial reproduction is prohibited without prior written authorisation.

11. Personal data

Data collected during your order is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To learn more, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Disputes

In case of dispute, please contact us first at hello@ilvane.art so that an amicable solution can be sought.

In accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, every consumer has the right to free recourse to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of a dispute. Mediator designated for Ilvane: [TO DESIGNATE — name, address and website of the approved mediator].

These T&C are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
